Do NOT trust this company, they failed to provide the car I'd requested at the promised time and then retained my "fully refundable" deposit. They then deleted the message history to try to cover their tracks. Previous review was somehow deleted so posting again

Awful service - purchased a car from this garage. Upon test drive there was no issues with the car, went to collect it and the suspension light was on. 6 weeks later and the issue is still not sorted, awful communication from the dealership

As for the other issue, which was classified as general wear and tear and not typically covered by warranty, we still chose to pay 50% of the repair cost as a goodwill gesture. Bought a car in September and had nothing but problems - reverse camera was broken when sold to me and then engine then lost all power. I had to pay £473 for the camera of which the warranty company only paid £250. 2nd repair cost me £250 and warranty company said it was a cam shaft bucket and the only way to fix was to get a new engine from Ford costing £7k !!! Contacted Renown motors about the camera and the engine and they now aren’t replying - warranty company refused to pay anything.Decided I’d had enough of the car and tried to sell it…….Car was bought and had obv been repaired and sold on to me - nothing in the advertise about this !!!Contacted Renown - nothing help at all. Car bought for £9150 - actual value being a repair is less than £3k. I paid for a vehicle check and HPI clear but there is a seperate register for sales which Renown would be fully aware of as 3 companies I have tried getting rid of it to have found the marker immediately so even if Renown claim they didn’t but it from the auction they as a ‘reputable dealer’ should have done proper checks before they bought it to sell it themselves and they would have seen it had been repairedDidn’t want to give 1 star as even that is too high !

Bought a car from here not too long ago, and they also have good quality cars on sale as well. The lads were helpful and they provided good customer service experiences. Would definitely recommend to anyone that’s looking to buy their next car from a reliable source
